Investigation Found No Evidence to Substantiate Complaint Made Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

Frank Work, Q.C., Information and Privacy Commissioner, publicly released an investigation report into a complaint regarding the unauthorized access of personal information.

The Complainant claimed that an employee of Alberta Government Services had used employment connections to obtain access to the Complainant’s unlisted telephone number. The investigation conducted by this Office found no evidence to substantiate the Complainant’s complaint.
